inspiration for rejuvination

of 'the body electric'

Mary Beth Kosich is a licensed massage therapist, 18KT00777700, who has treated professional ballet and modern  dancers, athletes, celebrities and good folk of all kinds, have found peace and rest on her table.

Massage motivates and mobilizes the immune system as it calms the heart and attunes the nervous system, suspending the body in a deep peace where orginal healing is able to happen. Massage is a wonderful adjunct for conditions arising from a high paced society. Insomnia, headaches, or acute and chronic pain from diabetes, ms, fybromylagia and more are eased by massage and its ability to release the body's own opiates. Chronic and acute pain from various injuries or maladies including arthritis and herniations are also appropriate. Whether in vital life or end of life, during hospice, massage is complementary care seemlessly natural to the body.

Mary Beth blends Esalen's gentle rhythms of the ocean that flow over the body with long fluid, rhythmic strokes as well as Swedish kneading, petrissage and effleurage, Trager's rocking and jostling and the deeper relief of Myofascial and Acupressure. She adjusts the pressure and pace for each client according to their changing needs. The sensation of the massage is accentuated by the repetition, rhythm and grace of the strokes as well as the pressure. Standard draping applies and there is no nudity during the session. Mary Beth believes that massage therapy is an art form that utilizes the body's own opiates and nerve pathways to create an exquisite sensory experience.

As a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, she looks forward to being a partner with you in walking down the road to wellness.
